UNSW Elite Athlete Support Program
What do Sydney Swan Tadhg Kennelly, recent Ashes debutante Usman Khawaja and pro surfer Jessi Miley-Dyer have in common? They've all studied under UNSW's Elite Athlete Support Program.
UNSW was the first Australian university to establish a program of sports scholarships in 1988 and now provides over $100,000 in support to talented student athletes.
Sydney Swans Tadhg Kennelly, Ted Richards and Daniel Hannebery (2010 AFL Rising Star Award), Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja, pro surfer Jessi Miley-Dyer, Australian waterpolo captain Johnno Cotterill, Olympic Skiier Scott Kneller, national road cycling champ Lauren Kitchen, Commonwealth Games archer Lexie Feeney and World Cup sailor Ajay Rau give us their insights into what makes this program the no.1 choice for the best athletes in the country.
